Peripherals for 3D Photography

I just received, from Edmund Scientific Company of Barrington, NJ, a gadget
called the Lev-O-Gage II (item #36612), which I intend to attach to the back
of my Realist camera. The gauge is supposed to be used to measure the
trim/list of boats, but its single degree increments (up to 10 degrees
deviation to either side) seemed to me to be just perfect for keeping my
Realist camera level when taking pictures. It cost around $13, and I'll post
again if it turns out to be really useful.
