===========
I have used most of the different mounts available in U.S., and here is what
I think:

I started with heat seal: Did the job, not to much money, but I never had
the guts to put any heat near my film chips, so I ended up taping most of
them, and I don't like that.

I then moved on to slip in mounts: More expensive than the heat seal, the
first batch I purchaced pissed me off because almost every one of them were
to wide to fit in my Red button viewer (so I spent time cutting off the edge
of the mount), as well as the left slide on each one was a bit higher than
the right(ooh dat made me MAD), this did not happen when I bought the Pegco
easy mounts, and I assume that the first ones i tried was just a bad batch
(so I won't mention where I got them).

I tried many of the different metal and glass mounts: I like these, they
are not that hard to use, and are great for projection, and If you get dust
on the slide, you are just getting it on the glass so it is easyer to take
care of, they are are around the same price as the RBT, although I think the
RBT may be a bit cheaper

I am now using the RBT mounts: They are my favorite, I feel that they are
the easyest to use, it is easy to take out the film chips if you need to
(which I do for scanning into the computer), they are (I think) abit cheaper
than if you bought metal and glass mounts, it is nice to have a mount that
doesn't show up in the viewer since one side is black, and the edge is as
crisp as can be.

I will now use the slip in mounts as I cut the film, and then after looking
at them, my favorite slides go into the RBT mounts.

As far as only getting 3 responses, this is common. If I were to offer a
Realist camera in mint condition, for free to be raffled of to one of the
first 100 people on the list, I bet I would get less than 10 responses. So,
I won't be making the offer. That is just how people are on-line. I did
not say anything, because I figured that someone else would answer. Which
as you said 3 people did. I usually only answer some one if I know the
answer, and I don't think tomany people will respond.
