3DS to dxf conversion?

I'd like to be able to use the 3D Studio meshes at
Avalon and elsewhere on the net, but the program
I use for modeling, Alias Sketch, doesn't import 
3DS files.  Does anybody know of a conversion
program that runs on a Mac and can convert from
3DS to dxf?  Thanks.
