Another question/Tedious mounting

I forgot to ask:

How close can I expect to get two SLRs to sync up when firing their
shutters with a twinned release gizmo (like Reel 3-D sold until recently)?
Will I be able to shoot people walking? Cats jumping?

Easy to type, yes! But in practice it takes me around 5 min. per slide.
Maybe I'll get faster (I hope!).

I find the labelling the best part. It's good to think of the
events/places/people in slides from the perspective of some years down the
road, and label them accordingly. It helps me live more in "the moment",
somehow-or-another.
