I recently got on-line with AOL just to take a look at their
browser... UGHHHHHH!

If you're using the AOL browser... you're missing out on
all the hard work and effort html authors have put into
their pages. Nothing is formatted properly with this browser,
and the Netscape extensions... make it even worse.

Here's how you get Netscape to work with AOL....

When on-line with AOL use the "keyword" to find their
winsock.dll file.  Download this file and put it into your
windows directory.

Now install Netscape v1.22 (v2.0 is still buggy).

Next time your on-line with AOL... minimize the AOL
window, and click on your Netscape icon...  Viola... you
are now running Netscape over the AOL line.

Should you really like this idea you can also pick up
a variety of FTP (WS_FTP & WINSOCK FTP)programs 
that will also work once you have the AOL winsock.dll
on your computer.

During my test I was running Netscape, an FTP program, and
writing e-mail all at the same time on AOL... That might be called
getting your money's worth 8-)
