thanks to all for your replies tomy questions.  I have been offline due 
to disc/system disaster, hence tardy in my replies.  It now appears I may 
have to devote my $ to replacing my computer instead of enjoying a new 
camera.  Meanwhile I will continue to learn and benefit from the 
experience of others on thelist, and now have to check out the Kodak as 
well as the TDC, from the info I have received.
