My suggestion is to keep AoL if you like it and find an additional ISP
for your Web browsing. I used AoL's Web tool and figured if I'm PAYING
for the OnLine time while I wait and wait and wait, I'd soon have spent
the little it would cost me to get an unlimited account on a much more
faster service.
AoL's browser doesn't support the supper-slick html stuff that Netscape
supports. Netscape is leading the development of html stuff and for
now is the "standard" against which other browsers are compared.
If you realize (soon enough) that browsing the web is a gigantic waste
of a lot of time (see Silicon Snake Oil - Cliff Stoll) you can drop the
additional service and go back to the pretty pictures and easy interface
on AoL.

(You know, sometimes the medication has strange effects... I wonder if
I took too much... or the WRONG stuff!)
