Bring Back Belplasca

   A New Jersey dealer has informed me that individuals selling
Belplascas are asking $750 to $900 each.  This camera is in very
short supply.
   Which raises a question: What ever happened to the plant which
used to produce Belplasca long ago in the former DDR (East Germany)?
What happened to the dies and other tools?  Could it be brought back
into production?
   Are there any German entrepreneurs out there who would be
interested in this?
   More realistically, are there any South Koreans out there who
could get the jigs and dies and take this little masterpiece back
into production?
   Ethnic stereotypes aside, wouldn't it be nice to see this happen?
