|
|I've had several requests for info on the Ultralevel 6.
|
|It's 6" long, about an inch and a quarter wide, and half an inch thick.
|It's made of high impact black plastic. There is a button that activates a
|circuit that gives you an audible beep plus a winking LED when you are at
|level. As I recall, the thing automatically shuts itself off after awhile
|if you forget. Accuracy is 1/6 of 1 degree. The batteries can be replaced.
|The manufacturer is Zircon.
|
|Cost is $16.99 at Eagle Hardware, plus 8.2% tax here in Washington. Some
|people are apparently having trouble locating one. I'm willing to get
|them for people as long as you keep my life simple. So first, try your
|local Home Base or Eagle store. If no luck:
|
|Send me a POSTAL money order for $18.50 (no checks or non-postal money
|orders please-- this necessitates a trip to the bank. The post office is a
|block away. The bank is a mile away.) $18.50 covers the cost of the unit
|plus tax.
|
|Send me a SELF-ADDRESSED jiffy bag with $3 postage (for Priority Rate)
|applied to it. Make it one capable of holding something 8" (packaging adds
|an inch or two) by 2" (the level is about 1.25 " wide and .5 " thick).
|
|If you're willing to follow the above instructions, I'm willing to go to
|Eagle and buy you an Ultralevel 6.
|
|The local Eagle currently has 10 in stock.

Elliott - Did you see this come out to the list? If not, I'll mail
it again. Turns out our sysoop rebooted this morning in the middle
of the digest delivery and sometimes that causes problems when the
system picks up again (sigh - if it's not one thing, it's another...)

Incidentally, does that level display angles other than LEVEL (ie,
-4.5 degrees or something?) I've been looking for something along
those lines...

THANKS
