I don't know if you're up to date on the latest and greatest
features of Netscape. But the new versions 2.0b3 and 2.0b4 allow
an added plug-in from Macromedia that will allow animation on the
web pages.
I've just added an anaglyph animation that I think you'll enjoy
seeing... I didn't add any audio in an effort to keep the file
as small as possible... only 46K. Man! does audio (wav files)
really make these animations big files!
There are many sites now that have shockwave files on them, including
lots of interactive games you play right on the screen, as well as
using shockwave for an image map... Sony, MTV, CNN are just a few.
Anyhow... it's VERY COOL... and well worth the effort to get these
new versions of software and plug-ins. Details are available on the
home page or you can just point your browser to:
Netscape is:
http://www.netscape.com/comprod/mirror/index.html
Macromedia Shockwave is:
http://www.macromedia.com/Tools/Shockwave/sdc/Plugin/index.htm
Don't quote me... but I believe this stuff is also working on Macs.
Happy New Year...
