I've hardly seen any modern work at all (only what's on the web, and never 
through a viewer), and I'm very excited to get involved
in the Expo.

As a newbie myself, not only to 3d@xxxx, but to 3D in general, 
I'm going to be relying on people's comments about my shots, 
having never had anyone in the 3D community look at my stuff yet.
I think people may be more forthcoming with helpful, specifically 
technical comments  if we designate ourselves as beginners.

Ummm...  I like this Feb. 28 idea about 13  days better.
