3d Expo -Thoughts
About the New 3-D Expo:
[1] A big "Thank You" to Joel for taking the reins and moving this
forward.
[2] I definitely want to have the written feedback - growth can not
occur without pain. What is life without evaluation? From the tone of
the members of this list, I trust the comments will be made with an
emphasis towards helping each other improve and advance the fine art
of Stereo Photography.
[3] The voting makes it interesting. "Where do I stack up among my
peers?" is an important question - also leads to growth.
[4] The $5 or so entry fee is very reasonable.
[5] Allowing those to audit or "view-only" is okay. I would even
welcome feedback from them. Just as long as their total number does
not exceed the number of those submitting images.
[6] Feb 29 is fine for me.
[7] As I've said before, UPS does a fine job.
[8] Can I suggest that as much technical information as possible (or
as you can remember) be included for each image by each entrant?
Like film type and speed, type of camera, exposure setting, yada,
yada, yada. Location, time of day (if landscape), was a flash used?
If hyper, how many inches, feet, meters... This kind of stuff.
I don't record as much of this stuff as I should, but if you have it,
it would be nice to share.
[8] This is all very exciting, now all I have to go through all those
uncataloged slide pages and find my "good stuff."
