Ok, no one else is doing it so I will grab this one:

You only have to worry about x-rays with *fast* film. 1000 and 3200. Maybe
400 after several trips through but all that happens is a bit of fogging and
you probably wouldn't even notice it. Slow films, like slide film, are not
prone to fogging.

If you don't believe me, you can buy an x-ray baggie at any camera shop and
tell the guards to hand check it.
