New to this list

Hi everyone,

I am a new subscriber to this mail list having recently found the 3D Web site and thought I
would introduce myself.

My interest in 3D imaging stems from some C19th stereo cards I bought many years ago with
a viewer - I found these so fascinating I bought several more lots of cards at a local auction
over the next few years and eventually a Realist 3.5 camera.
I put a number of films through the camera and mounted them myself, but do not use it at the
moment as I think it needs a good overhaul.

Stumbling across the 3D Web site has now re-awakened my interest in 3d photography and I
have a couple of questions to put to members of this list -

1. Can anyone recommend someone to overhaul my Realist ? (I live in the UK, but wouldn't
mind posting it to the US if necessary.)

2. Does anyone mount Realist format images (transparency) anymore, or is there any
equipment that anyone can recommend to assist mounting ?

3. Are there any dealers in early (up to c1920) stereo cards that anyone knows of. I would like
to sell/swap/ a lot of the cards I have and would be very keen to find any of my local area
(Gloucestershire) ?
