Thanks for that posting Joel.....like anything else, it is a personal system
choice you made.....and one that ooothers may find useful....so here it is
below. Tell me what size moounts you want. Sorry, in this contestcan't give
away Chumsuks,Auto LED Superlevellers, or Georges froosted xmas tree halogen
bulbs....which in fact do work with the Superleveller, just in case you tilt
your camera....to keep your tree level for perfect holiday photos....."every
time you shoot" (Elliot would get mad at me) read on below....Jon

JON G WRITES: about RBT white/black halves:

Certainly the white side is reflective of heat for projection purposes, and
the black side offers greater isolation from light bleeding in a viewer, but
does anybody have any other innovative ideas about how the black/white,
all-black, all- white combinations can be used. If you come up with a good
one, I'll send you a few complimentary RBT's in the size of your
choice....and I would like to add that information to the users group mailer
that will be going out in the spring to all that have requested before.

JOEL A WRITES:
I've always mounted one half white / one half black, and thought that for
viewing, the black side should face the person viewing, while for projection,
the white side should face the lens. Obviously this requires you to either
re-mount, or use them in the less-than-optimal way.
So, how about mounting slides for projecting/viewing using both white halves,
and slides for hand viewers using both black halves? Since the optimum slides
for viewing and projection are different, why not mount them differently -
this also gives immediate indication of which slides are which as well! I
just thought of this, but might try it ...

JON G WRITES BACK
I will try the white/white for projecting.....I wonder if there will be any
effects at the screen because the RBT white half is a bit transluscent. If
it works, then the RBT glass mount could be used, possibly as a two sided
glass mount! Testing 1, 2, 3........

RBT is experimenting with different colors at this time..... which could be
fantastic for color coding, categorizing etc. But dont hold your
breathe....this is not something we will see too soon as RBT must test the
properties of the colored mounts, and how they are affected by the dies they
use.

Thats all for now....JON GEE ARE-BEE-TEE YOO ESS AYE
