I have made prints from slides.  I  took out one of the chips, and took it to a
 custom lab.  They made a interneg. and then a custom print.  BUT you can also
get single 35mm slide mounts that have an opening the size of a realist chip.
Put in the slide and it is a slide- that can be printed wherever slides can be
printed into prints.  The wolf camera stores have a slide scanner that will giv
e you a page 8.5x11 of whatever you want-1 8x10, 2 5x7 etc.
   I had custom work done because I am never pleased with "drug store" prints f
rom slides.  The custom house did a great job.  The print was excellent!  The i
ter neg they made was about 5x7 from the realist chip.  Cost was high but the
special print was worth it!  I then took the print to the wolf store, scanned t
he print and got a copy EXACTLY the same, with all colors true.  Gene
