More "disasters" from Lynchburg, VA.

We just got through digging out from the "Blizzard of '96."
We had a record snowfall of 20+ inches in 24 hours. The only thing
that comes close is 1922, where 17+ inches fell in 24 hours.
It is also cold (15 - 20 degrees f.) and this stuff isn't melting.

I think total accumulation this time was close to two feet. We had
drifts of 3-4 feet. My car was completely buried.

It is all very beautiful, and difficult to deal with.

And yes, I took some shots with my "new" Stereo Realist. I took Dr.
George T.'s advice and used an SLR as an exposure meter, since I can't
find my old one and Christmas leaves me short of cash to buy a new
one. I am shooting Kodak Ectachrome Elite (ED) 200 ASA. With all the
white reflecting the sun, this gives me 1/150 at f16, usually.

Once I can drive around safely, I plan to get some shots of the water
(James river and Blackwater creek) and the snow. I would like to
emulate some stereo prints I have of Austria. I have been limited to
     what I can walk to.

I have just heard that we are due some more nasty stuff this weekend.
With the windstorms, floods, fires, and snow, I keep looking for
     Charlton Heston to appear...
