Fantastic night in Detroit...

I just came back from Detroit.  It was a good night for me.  Three of my
slides got a third place and now I believe I am ahead by one point.  I
enjoyed working for this subject ("Fantasy") which called for artistic
slides, unusual compositions, materials, film, etc.  Some interesting
images, including a few computer-generated, thanks to John Vala and his
friends.

The program of the night was a presentation of Stan White's "Beyond The
Third Dimension".  Selected images from this program are available as a VM
three-reel set.  Talking about a guy who has pleny of imagination and knows
what photography is all about... The program was presented before the
competition and made our fantasies and slides look look like junk...
We should be learning from the masters...
