They are kind of like Damark - they deal in surplus/cut merchandise.
It's a bit of the roll of the dice in my experience. Sometimes you get
really good stuff for cheap - sometimes not. For example, I bought some
electronic switch boxes which were retailing for about $50, from them for
$6.95 (or something similar). They were brand new. On the other hand, I was
looking for a very strong magnet, and the one they carried which appeared
identical to the one in the Edmund Scientific catalog was actually priced
MORE than Edmund. There is a line drawing of the tripod in the catalog.
I'll bring it in tonight and scan the ad if anyone want to look at it.
I have to admit - I'm thinking of buying one...
