I'll second George's recommendation. I recently purchased a 100' roll of
5071 for under $40 from B&H, and it works quite nicely. I've only run a
single small roll (~20 exp.) for testing, but it looked surprisingly good
(look like the test originals which were selected for test purposes, not for
their own beauty). Surprisingly, the EI and correction filter ratings written
on the film's box seems to have worked perfectly when applied to my copy
camera and copy light source respectively. It could take some fussing with
color corrections on a test roll, but the results may be worth it. Using
"normal" film for copying could be a problem, although a low contrast one
like EPN (if I recall right) might be acceptable. The cost per roll
would be a lot higher that way though.
