Nimslo/Burdlo shutter trouble

My Nimslo (UK-made)was delivered with shutter trouble ever since it was new.
(1983 This was an irregular periodic error which might happen once or twice
for each roll exposed. Simply, the shutters refused to open. all.
More seriously ,the lovely Burdlo camera (serial no. 6D!) suddenly failed
after almost 10 years use without any error. The shutters suddenly refuse to
open at all. Battery is OK, and red/green LED indicators does seem to work
well. The camera has been stripped but no loose wires or bad soldering has
been found yet. 
I would suspect that the error might be  within some of the electronic circuits.

Who has encountered similar problems?
What might be the most likely way to investigate/test and repair this kind
of problems?
Any good idea would be appreciated.
