Bob, I agree with your comments except for the above statement. You can
still use Kodachrome 40 Type A if you want to. I use it for duping prints
to slides. It's a very fine grained film stock. If you use outdoors with
a type 85 filter, it's ASA 25 and you would still have the superior
filtration qualities you desire. I figured you were probably aware of this
film but just in case you weren't...
