with Anti-Newton glass......"
What is a full frame format mount?
I can crop down a full size format to fit a frame mount of 23 x 33mm or 23 x
33,5mm., but I try to avoid that and utilise the optimal full frame format
to keep superimposed fade dissolve projection pleasant to view.
Proper made 3-D full frame format stereo cameras have build in convergence
or axial offset to compensate the need for any image loss and thus utilise
the whole full frame mount format. They will still even have sufficient
image size to play with for some horizontal adjustment if wanted. The image
size inside a 3-D SLR camera aperture mount could for instance be like
between 24,0 x 37,5 or even larger.
General reference for
"full frame format" 35mm film" is 24 x 36 mm
GE-PE full frame format(standard) is 23,0 x 35,0mm
WESS full frame mounts standard is 23,4 x 34,8mm (aspect ratio 3:2)
WESS Ref:No 002,
while a more narrow WESS mount is 23,4 x 33,5mm (aspect ratio 1,43:1)
WESS Ref No 262
ANSI/AMI Standard aperture is 22,8 x 34,3mm (aspect ratio 3:2)
WESS Ref No 001
The full frame standard WESS mount 002, will give the largest image too.
WESS mounts are used world wide for professional photography both, for 2-D
and 3-D multi image projection.
