Realist vs. Revere

Seems like I keep hearing that Realist is a better camera than my dear Revere33. Could it be true? (I'm not talking about the fancy Realist with the fast lens, just the garden variety one.) It's hard to believe there could be an improvement in image quality over what I get, but then, I've never seen side by side comparisons.
