Regarding Photo3DGuy's Discview idea...
Great original idea, and no, it hasn't been talked about already. Way to
go! My question, though, is whether the film chips would be correctly
oriented for viewing. Greater minds than mine are on the list, so someone
help out here...
Since the image reverses when passing through the taking lense as it lands
on the emulsion, and you flip the emulsion to correct the orientation, are
the letters on signs reading correctly, or backwards? And have you created
a stereo pair, or pseudo-stereo? I can never remember the basics here...
Regarding a few other topics floating by my screen...
1) the slide pages sold by Reel 3D are vinyl, and non-archival. Use them at
your own (considerable) risk.
2) >Subject: Re: Stereocard Musings

IMO, the images are not on tissue, but are actually very thin sheets of
albumin printing paper. Even early stereoviews on normal card stock hinted
of the thin albumin paper used at that time, especially when you see glue
streaks showing through on some of the damaged views.
I haven't used any in a while, but I recall Kodak had some very thin
fiber-based paper that would probably work well for experimenting with your
own tissue-views. There are also some liquid emulsions which could be
applied to thin paper for dabbling in this lost art. It doesn't have to be
tissue paper, just translucent and strong enough to withstand occasional
mishandling.
