New Viewer Idea

Here's my idea for constructing a better viewer:

The Star-D viewer is basically constructed of two parts:
- a base, which contains the on/off switch, battery connectors, and bulb
- a removable plastic piece containing the lenses.

I believe the lenses are plastic - not of high quality.  Since the lens piece
is easily removable (one screw), perhaps a better quality "lens attachment",
with glass lenses, and maybe an interocular adjustment, could be constructed
/ manufactured.  This could be sold for a retrofit.

I do not know how many Star-D viewers are out there, and if they are still
manufactured. My guess is that the overall cost may end up at $100 or more,
but the upgraded viewer could be comparable to the red button viewer.  As the
supply of red button viewers continues to dwindle, this might be the only
alternative.  Any thoughts?
