In regard to the discussion on parallel/non-parallel rays while viewing stereo-
scopic imagery with optical instruments; I agree with John Crowell.  Furthermore,
I posted an anecdote about WWII a couple of weeks ago relating to this topic.
Because a group of "Leftennants" were preparing for "D Day" by operating
Stereoplotters for 16-18 hours per day 7 days a week for months, they were
spending their entire waking hours staring straight ahead (at infinity - which
is PARALLEL rays).  No eye muscle exercise, ergo, atrophy.

So there, I say Parallel too!
