Holmes format prints

Eric G. asked if anyone on the list had experience with Grand Photo.

I have been using Grand Photo to process print film in 5p format for
the last year. They offer READY-TO-VIEW  prints that are transposed for
proper viewing.  The prints can be place in Q-VU mount to make an 
instant Holmes style stereoviews. They also offer READY-TO-VIEW prints 
from Nimslo format negatives.

I have been happy with Grand Photos work but it is not cheap. The READY-
TO-VIEW prints are $1.25 per view and the mounts are $0.37. Individual
prints are also available for $0.95/pr. The prints are returned with a
mailer for the next roll(s) of film.

Q-VU offers a sample kit of their mounts for $5.00. The address is

The Q-VU X style mounts work well for 4x5 prints from the PENTEX stereo
adapter.  Just crop the print down the to proper height and insert them
in the mount, If the stereo window needs to be adjusted splint the print
into seperate prints and change their position in the mount. Rotation
of the adapter problems can also be fixed in mounting.
