3D Magic Overexposure

John Dennis took a 3D Magic apart and reported on his experiences in the
May/June 1993 issue of Stereo World. He observed that the camera could easily
be reloaded many times and used with ISO 100, 200, or 400 film with ISO 200
yielding the best results.
I believe Dennis reported the 27mm lenses to be f/9.5. The Image Tech
literature does not say. That setting is consistent with slightly overexposed
flash pictures using an Optilite set at ISO 100. The shutter speed is close to
1/100 second.
Using the "sunny 16" rule, you might expect overexposed pictures in
bright sun light. They will be a stop or two overexposed but that is not
normally a problem with snapshots and color negative film.
In other words, ISO 100 is the correct setting for the Optilte on a 3D
Magic.
