Phil Palmer asks about the Sputnik:
> Has anyone got first hand experience of a Sputnik 120,
> I presume the 120 means it takes 120 roll film.
You presume correctly.
> What is it like as a camera ?
I like mine but it's taken some work to get it into shape and
it still has light leaks. Fortunately the light leaks don't
get all the way into the image area of a mounted pair. I painted
the labyrinth seals with flat black paint to no effect.
Most important is to adjust the lenses to agree with each other
and then remember which focus adjust knob (there are three potential
"knobs") is turned which direction last. I drew an arrow on mine
to indicate which one and which direction.
You might search the photo-3d archives on "Sputnik". I'm sure
you'll find a great deal on it.
