I hope I'm not repeating answers.  Dear old netcom is pretty flakey
this afternoon (so what else is new?) and I'm not sure how many photo-3d
messages got blown away when I tried to read my mail.  8-(

No formula required - the lenses of the cameras should be as far apart
as your eyes.  However, if the cameras' lenses are farther apart, it 
won't matter too much.
