Archival glue

I use Elmer's yellow wood glue (For yellow wood?  No.) to glue my
spicermounts together to increase their stiffness.  Joel asked if
that was an archival glue.  Heck if I know.  Anyone have any thoughts
on what an aliphatic resin (I think that's what it is) would do to 
Kodachrome?

PS: Why does this stiffen the mounts?  Well think of a deck of cards - 
it bends pretty easily unless you glue all the cards together.  8-)
