This was posted to sci.astro.amateur 2/5. It can also be found on AstroNet,
I believe. There are many aluminizing services across the country, look in the
yellow pages. They are really useful when a focusing surface needs to be
coated. I have seen antique viewers for photos (monocular) that use a
4 or 5 inch concave mirror to view a photo placed below the chin of the
viewer. These bi-ocular viewers (2 eyes through one optic) give a faintly
stereoscopic effect. Were there any stereo viewers that used two
focusing mirrors?
