Not unbelievable, just infinite (because it takes no time to get
from one side to the other)! Things get _really_ interesting
when you put a Pulfrich filter in front of one eye-position (I
can't say "one eye", because it's the same eye in different
positions). This has the effect of either slowing the eye down
considerably (to less than 1 meter/sec, depending on the density
of the filter), or making it travel BACKWARDS IN TIME, depending
on which direction it's moving! Of course, the possibility of
time travel was implicit in its travelling faster than light in
the first place. :-)
