We were just discussing this in our last Stereo New England Meeting. Our
projectionist, Jon Golden, our "guru" Ron Labbe, Dick Koolish, all mount to
the window.

I also mount to the window, though I don't necessary think that the window
is as perceptually prominent as some on the list do. I use the window as a
"comfort zone" index, where I can be sure that stereo cues will be within
the range of what is perceptually palatable for projection, handviewing,
etc.
