Dave,

Wouldn't the flames melt the ice sculptures?  ;)

I like motion blur in 3-D some times.  Like most "rules" once you know 
them, you can figure out how to break them for your benefit.

You should send in a shot of some snow and ice to Stereo World, because 
the theme is shots of weather.
