I'm afraid I don't know a lot about OWLA STEREO.
I know 2 versions of OWLA. The first version has a "DDD" logo between the 
two lenses. And second one has the focusing knob there instead of the logo.
Which version did you get?
Anyway, you're pretty lucky!! OWLA is very rare even in Japan. 
Of course, I don't have. Does anyone have one for sale?
