viewer/projector?

Dear 3-d'ers:
I have been lurking on this list for the last few months and have
found it interesting and informative. Last summer I purchased a Kodak
camera and viewer I and have been thrilled witht the results. The other
night I noticed that if, in a dark room, one takes the eye piece
adjustment and turns in inward, one can "project" two images or one fused
image onto a close wall. Would it be possible to make a portable
mini-projector from my viewer. I could envision a polarizing filter
sandwiched with the slide and then possibly a halogen bulb for better
brightness. Focus would have to be adjusted by simply moving the unit
back and forth until sharp.
        What do you think?
