Re: The recent remarks concerning film duping at Dale Labs from Edward I.
Comer
I just recieved in the mail today two free rolls of film from the Seattle Film
Works. I get the impression that they do the same type of work. If I
understand correctly (according to FAQ's on their website
http://www.filmworks.com) they load their film canisters with 35mm movie film
that can be developed either way. What their website doesn't mention is the
life of the images. One of the members of our camera club says that the film
detereorates quickly. but I take this opinion with a grain of salt as he is a
dyed in the wool Kodachrome user. (an incredibly loyal group of people... if
only processing were easier and faster.) Does anyone else know anything of
this? (They do offer their own brand of 'chrome' film for a couple of dollars
more, but it's not reproducable.)

The other interesting feature they offer is transferring your film to floppy
disks. ( A low charge if ordered in conjunction with a roll developed.) File
resolution is 640 X 480. They look nice on the monitor, but aren't nearly as
good as CD Rom.

Any thoughts?
