Newbie Needs Recommendation

     
     Greetings, all.
     
     As the subject line says, I'm new to the list and to 3-D overall. I'm 
     looking at getting into the hobby and I would appreciate the  list's 
     input.  
     
     I just received Reel 3-D's catalog and the Loreo camera/viewer    
     caught my eye.
     
     What's the deal?  Is it a plastic-toy-waste-of-money or a decent  way 
     to get into the hobby?  I'm not a tech-head, at least yet, so the 
     apparent ease of use, conventional photoprocessing and built-in flash 
     seem appealing.
     
     My photo subjects will include city & landscapes, nature &        
     animals, people portraits and just for fun snapshots.
     
     Should I go with the Loreo or are there other relatively          
     low-cost, easy to use systems that I should be considering?
