Stereoscopic Camera Design

I am a final year student at Strathclyde University Glasgow in Product Design
Engineering and am currently trying to design a stereoscopic camera
/attatchment for my honours project.
I would be grateful if anyone would send me information about what they would
particullarly like to see in a stereo camera, such as features and price. I
would also be interested in problems encountered with current cameras and
modifications made to such.
