I like your idead.  Count me if you can!

At NSA/ISU Atlanta '95 the "Internet" group met.  A room and time
were arranged by someone who should get the credit, but credit gets
lost all to often...(sorry)

One note:  It is wise to START THE MEETING with the definite
impression that someone is in charge!  It is not possible to
sieze power effectively once the notion of anarchy is widespread.

Even the fist-fight was disorganized. ;-)
... Not that it wasn't fun, mind you!
Oh, it WAS fun, but a lot of PR makeup work had to be done off-line
because the "What/Who are we?"; "How/What do I do to connect?"; "How
do I get/What is e-mail?"; etc. questions weren't answered clearly
in the chaos.

Also, since attendance at your group will be of interest to
net non-connected people, you have time to get it included in
printed material and schedules as well.

Are you ready for this large a project?  Did you expect to have
this much fun?  All right!
