Ron Zakowski has spare realist parts... He sells the lens caps from the
Realist Custom that will fit on your 3.5 for 15 dollars with clips.  I've
decided that I get along quite nicely without mine.

Many people suggest different things, including bending the little hook that
holds
the right side of the back in place toward the camera.  Just bending stuff
makes
me nervous, and I find that using black paper photo tape each
time new film is loaded works quite well... ;-/

Actually spoke with the good Doctor Themelis on the phone this weekend, and
put a
voice with these here ASCII things.  It was a pleasure to do business with
him
as usual, and I highly recommend everyone buying things from him, selling to
him, etc.
His prices, services, dedication to 3-d, and just plain coolness can't be
beat. (Sorry
Dr. T, I couldn't help it!)

He's really made an impact on my approach to 3d, with which I'm on the
slippery slope to a full-tilt obsession.  I'm now investing in my own
Realist, so I won't have to be so jittery about
using the family heirloom.
