staying on topic

We're starting to wander off topic when we spend time advising
Dr. T what sort of home computer he should buy.  There's always
a balance to these things - a little isn't bad but when it gets
this heavy, I have to say that if Dr. T needs computer help, there
are plenty of appropriate newsgroups and mailing lists for him 
to turn to.  These lists have a lot more expertise than we do,
as a general rule.  Now if Dr. T needs to know which computer is
going to do the best job of displaying stereo pairs, that's 
another thing entirely.  8-)
