new 3D camera?

This question has probably been asked dozens of times, but I'll ask again:

Do the dies for the Realist still exist? Doesn't David White Co. still 
exist? Could the Realist 2.8 be produced in a limited run, of, say, 5000 
examples? It seems to me there might be a limited market if the camera 
could be sold for, say, $1500. (Olden was selling its last 2.8's about 5 
years ago, for $750 - which now seems like a bargain.)
