Does "it" count as collecting if you use them? Or does that fall onto 
the "user" side of the river?

Let's see.  We have "real stereo" cameras and  "non-real stereo", we
have "real collectors" vs "non-real collectors".   We need to set
up a matrix.  Is there another axis to add?  :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
