Another "nay" vote here. I don't have the unbridled visceral hatred for this
that I had for the six-a-day digests, but I do very much dislike not knowing who
some of the messages come from, since many people don't/can't add automatic
signatures. Also, as many people don't routinely include their E-mail addresses
in the correspondence, it will make it much, much more difficult to respond
directly to a writer, forcing us to clutter up the list with messages that
should be sent privately. It just seems to me that this process strips all of
the humanity from the list and homogenizes all of the individual voices into one
monotonous "photo-3D" voice.
