First, Thanks Shab for your comments about the 3D book list I have been
working on. I truly hope more of you take advantage of it... (Please
let me know if you do, if no one is using it, I might not keep working
on it...)
Second, "From: P3D "Alexa R.W. Smith" Hi! I am currently hunting for
older lenticular images and have heard there was a black and white
lenticular photo that Kodak bound into copies of LOOK magazine circa
1964. Does anyone have any information on this or info. about where to
obtain one? Thanks! Alexa"
Alexa, Kodak did do this at least twice that I know of. One was a black
and white photo with an Edison recording device and some other items I
can't remember right now, the second was a color picture of a woman in
a bright red dress standing amongst MANY pipes in some sort of factory.
The text is advertising the new 3D technology made possible by their
"new" miracle fiber that allowed for the 3D effect in the lenticular,
but also was the fiber used to make the woman's dress. I know that I
have one of each of these, and might have a second copy of the black
and white one. Write me privately, and I will look into more.
