Odd stereoscope
I saw an odd stereoscope in an antique shop today. It was a Keystone
Model #50, constructed of metal (a chrome support) and a reddish-brown
bakelite hood. It was made in Meadville, Pa. in 1950, according to the
instruction book.
The most interesting thing about the 60 pictures (packed in the original,
corrugated cardboard box) was that they were perfectly *flat*, missing
that curvature that characterizes earlier runs of the same pictures
(which happened to be the "eye exercise" pictures).
Has anyone else on this list seen such a late run of the Keystone cards?
