For whatever it is worth, let me state my opinion that both books are
overpriced. I sold the first book for $35 (I think) a few months ago
after I advertised it in photo-3d and did not get but only 2-3 responses
and no one showed any interest when I had the second book for sale in my
Jan. 29th sale for less than half this price. This second book is still
available for sale...
S901. Brewster, Sir David; "On the Stereoscope, Its History,
Theory, and Construction", London 1856 (1st edition) ...... $175
235 pp plus 32 pp. of ads, VG condition (rated by a book seller,
book looks old but good for 140 years old). I was offered $175
from an auction house. It would sell for around $250. I offer
it for this price ($175) directly to interested buyers.
Of course, it does not matter what I think about prices... Since these
books were sold at the listed high prices, these are the market prices...
I guess I need to find a better way to advertise some of the bargains
that I make available from time to time... ;) ;) ;)
